The Hobbit is an excellent piece of story telling by the best fiction writer ever JRR Tolkien. The book has been made into a movie recently but I hadn't got a chance to see it. The book is awesome.
The story is about Bilbo Baggins get to join a company of dwarves and a wizard. Their mission is to defeat the dragon smaug and get the treasure of their ancestors. Bilbo finds a magical ring during the quest and he saves his friends from many situations. The ring is however if more interest in the next book but the adventures of Bilbo Baggins with or without ring are unforgettable and the story is really simple yet compelling and you sticj to it from beginning.
The author of the book created his own mythology and it is so vast and real looking that anyone can believe that it is true. The folks life elves,dwarves hobbits and many other things are so excellently described that I want to go to that world.
